| Summary, etc. | The integration of mind-body practices in nursing homes is challenging. The perspectives of health professionals are often decisive in the implementation of such projects. This work studies the feasibility of integrating a mind-body practice during comfort care in nursing homes from the caregivers’ point of view. During twelve palliative care treatments over one year, we integrated a simple, inexpensive mind-body practice into the usual care. The participating caregivers completed scales to subjectively evaluate interpersonal connections before and after the care, and were asked to fill in a SWOT matrix (mobilized strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, risks). The study reveals a significant improvement in connections, particularly with families. Strengths such as curiosity, courage, and empathy were strongly mobilized. However, feelings of loss of control or perceptions of low technical skills can hinder caregivers’ investment. These results raise questions about how to support changes in practices, managerial orientation, and the relationships between professionals, residents, and their families. The key finding of this study is that the integration of a simple, low-cost mind-body practice can positively impact the attractiveness of care professions in medical-social establishments. |

| Summary, etc. | L’intégration de pratiques psychocorporelles en EHPAD est un défi organisationnel. Le positionnement des professionnels du soin est souvent déterminant pour l’implémentation de ces pratiques. Notre objectif a été d’étudier la faisabilité de l’intégration d’une pratique psychocorporelle au cours de soins de confort en EHPAD, du point de vue du personnel soignant. Pendant un an, au cours de dix accompagnements de soins palliatifs en EHPAD, nous avons intégré une pratique psychocorporelle simple, peu couteuse, au moment des soins habituels. Le personnel soignant participant a renseigné des échelles évaluant subjectivement les liens interpersonnels avant et après et rempli une matrice SWOT (forces mobilisés, freins, opportunités, risques). L’étude révèle une amélioration significative des liens, notamment avec les familles. Les dimensions comme la curiosité, le courage et l’empathie sont fortement mobilisées. Néanmoins, le sentiment de perte de maîtrise ou l’impression de moindre technicité peuvent être des freins du point de vue du personnel soignant. Ces résultats soulèvent des questions autour de l’accompagnement à un changement de pratiques, autour de l’orientation managériale et du lien entre professionnels, les résidents et leur entourage. Le point clé révélé par cette étude est que l’intégration d’une pratique psychocorporelle simple et peu couteuse peut impacter positivement l’attractivité des métiers du soin dans les établissements médico-sociaux. |
