| Summary, etc. | La crise sociale de l’hiver 1995 a permis aux caricaturistes de mettre en scène les leaders syndicaux, et tout particulièrement Marc Blondel, de Force Ouvrière. Les dessins de presse ont exprimé sans détour ce qui était plus confus ou seulement entrevu ailleurs. Leur apport paraît donc bien utile à la compréhension des faits. Mais après 1995, le nombre des dessins a décliné très fortement, leurs sujets perdant en cohérence et il devient difficile de trouver un autre fil rouge que celui de la faiblesse du syndicalisme français à jouer son rôle sur la scène publique. |

| Summary, etc. | Derision against syndical forces in the cartoonsThe October-November 1995 social movement provided cartoonists with the opportunity to put the trade-unions leaders front stage (and page), especially Marc Blondel, the FO union leader. Cartoons published then by newspapers exposed bluntly what was blur, or only alluded to, elsewhere in articles. This corpus thus helps to understand these complex events : it is somehow elucidation through simplification. But, after 1995, the number of cartoons representing trade-unionists has steadily declined, their themes lack coherence, and the only trait connecting them is the traditional weakness of French trade-unionism to play its role in the public sphere. |
