| Summary, etc. | La profession d’avocat vit une situation de malaise collectif qui s’explique par la tension entre l’incertitude de l’avenir et la fragilité d’une profession qui, dans les trois dernières décennies, a plus changé que pendant les deux siècles précédents. Cette période a été dominée par le développement du barreau d’affaires et une croissance démographique accélérée. Ils furent les ferments d’un sentiment de crise globale, avec une influence croissante des logiques de marché sur les pratiques. Au cœur de cette idée de crise, on trouve : des incertitudes sur l’identité de la profession, des inquiétudes sur les risques de l’hyperspécialisation pour l’unité de la profession comme groupe organisé, des tendances lourdes à l’accroissement des écarts de revenus entre les différentes catégories d’avocats ou de conseillers juridiques. |

| Summary, etc. | Lawyers : a profession in way of heterogeneisation The occupation of lawyer saw a situation of collective faintness which is explained by the tension between the uncertainty of the future and the brittleness of a profession which, in the three last decades, changed more than during the two previous centuries. This period was dominated by the development of the Bar of businesses and an accelerated demographic growth. They were the leavens of a feeling of large crisis, with an increasing influence of logics of market on the practices. In the heart of this idea of crisis, one finds : uncertainties on the identity of the profession, concerns on the risks of the hyper-specialisation for the unit of the profession like organized group, heavy tendencies to the increase in the variations of incomes between the various categories of lawyers or legal advisers. |
