520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | Francophony in South AfricaUnique emerging country on its continent, South Africa went through a very difficult history. Out of the apartheid system, South Africa has transformed in a multiracial and democratic state in the nineties. By now, South African constitution endorses linguistic and cultural diversity, which mirrors its population. Francophony as an institution is of major interest for South Africa, no that much as to help to develop French language which is mainly spoken by a recently settled French speaking African community but to support its proactive trade and diplomacy in the francophone area. |
