| Summary, etc. | Notre réflexion s’appuiera sur l’idée selon laquelle les langues diasporiques ont toujours assumé une fonction culturo-identitaire pour leurs membres. En ce sens, elles peuvent être perçues comme des facteurs, aussi bien symboliques que concrets, de résistance contre l’assimilation culturelle plus ou moins irréversible exercée par le pays d’accueil.Nous abordons l’analyse du rapport des langues diasporiques et d’Internet en considérant ce réseau comme une nouvelle territorialité, à la fois contenant et contenu d’une « cyber-diaspora » planétaire. Cette cyber-diaspora présente un rapport d’analogie multiple avec la diaspora classique et s’analyse comme métaphore de la mondialisation. Notre propos sera illustré par l’exemple de la diaspora arménienne qui est l’une des plus anciennes de l’histoire. |

| Summary, etc. | Diaspora languages and Internet : new territories, identity resistance and knowledge sharingDiaspora languages have always maintained a cultural and identity function for their members. In that sense, we may consider these languages as tools, both symbolic and concrete, for resisting the cultural assimilation generated by the host country.In our analysis of the links between Internet and diaspora languages, we view the Web as a new territory for a “cyber-diaspora”, understood as a metaphor for globalization. The very ancient Armenian diaspora will be the main example of that analysis. |
