| Summary, etc. | RésuméLe nouveau retour au confucianisme en Chine continentale depuis la fin des années 1980 est le résultat d’un long processus qui a nécessité des efforts de plusieurs générations de penseurs et de chercheurs. Nous essayons de rendre compte de la richesse et de la diversité de la recherche actuelle en ce domaine, tentée par une synthèse du confucianisme traditionnel et de la philosophie occidentale. L’accent est plus particulièrement mis sur le « nouveau matérialisme » représenté par Zhang Dainian (1909-2004) et quelques-uns de ses disciples. |

| Summary, etc. | Confucianism and present-day China: the heritage of Zhang Dainian (1909-2004)The return of Confucianism to continental China since the end of the 1980s results from a long process undertaken by several generations of thinkers and researchers. We try to assess the richness and diversity of contemporary research in this area, through a synthesis of traditional Confucianism and western philosophy. A special emphasis is put on the “new materialism” symbolised by Zangh Dainian (1909-2004) and some of his disciples. |
