Summary, etc. | Les médias destinés aux femmes portent les discours d’experts de différentes disciplines. Si elle est centrée sur la mode, la presse féminine qui s’élabore au cours du XIXe siècle, est aussi une « presse des devoirs » des femmes, encadrant en particulier leurs rôles conjugaux et familiaux. Elle accompagne également le développement de nouveaux modes de consommation, comme la révolution cosmétique de l’entre-deux-guerres. Il est de ce fait intéressant de s’interroger sur l’évolution des discours de ces médias qui s’adressent aux femmes pendant le second XXe siècle. La période conjugue en effet l’émergence d’une nouvelle ague de féminisme avec les nouvelles normes de confort et d’éducation portées par la croissance des Trente Glorieuses. L’étude des émissions de Ménie Grégoire à la radio permet de saisir l’évolution de la médiation de la parole experte à destination des femmes pendant cette période. |

Summary, etc. | Media targeting a female audience offer expert testimony on various fields. With fashion as their primary focus, the women's magazines that develop during the 19th century, however, are also the “vehicule of a woman's duties” – essentially shaping their roles as mothers and wives. Their expansion parallels and follows that of new modes of consumption – such as the revolution in cosmetics happening between World War I and II – making a questioning of the evolution of this discourse over second half of the 20th century all the more interesting. During this period, a new wave of feminism emerges alongside new standards of comfort and education brought by the economic growth of the Trente Glorieuses. A study of the Ménie Grégoire radio show will allow for a better understanding of the mediation of authoritative discourse for the benefit of the women of the time. |
