| Summary, etc. | Le Centre de recherches politiques de Sciences Po (CEVIPOF) conserve un fonds papier d’éphémères électoraux, qui est un corpus co-construit au fil du temps et dont la sauvegarde a été effectuée grâce à la recherche. Les éphémères constituent une typologie documentaire originale mais qui, par définition, ne peuvent être exhaustifs. Classés, ils sont réutilisés pour de nombreux usages. La numérisation est retenue pour permettre un accès encore plus large. Sa mise en œuvre, financée grâce à un appel à projet de la Bibliothèque scientifique numérique (segment 5), consiste en un partenariat entre un laboratoire de recherche, le CEVIPOF, et des professionnels de la numérisation, à la bibliothèque de Sciences Po. Mais le projet pose des défis et des difficultés, notamment des questions d’ordre juridique et scientifique. Finalement, la question qui demeure puisqu’il n’est pas possible de numériser l’ensemble du fonds est la distorsion entre fonds papier et corpus numérique. |

| Summary, etc. | The Centre de recherches politiques de Sciences Po (CEVIPOF) keeps a paper archive of election ephemera, a corpus that has been collectively assembled over time and preserved for research purposes. Ephemera constitute an original documentary typology, albeit one that is, by definition, never exhaustive. Once archived, they are reused for many purposes. It has been decided to digitize them in order to permit yet wider access. Financed thanks to a Bibliothèque scientifique numérique (segment 5) call for projects, the implementation of this plan involves a partnership between a research laboratory (CEVIPOF) and digitization specialists from the Sciences Po library. But the project presents challenges and difficulties, particularly of a legal and scholarly nature. Since it is not possible to digitize the entire collection, the issue that ultimately remains is the imbalance between the paper archive and the digital corpus. |
