General note 91
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc.
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC.
Summary, etc. The study of the sensitivity of Helicobacter pylori to antibiotics is based on the isolation of the bacteria from gastric biopsies by culture. Antibiotic susceptibility tests are performed by determining the minimum inhibitory concentrations by testing at least clarithromycin and levofloxacin. The alternative to culture is to test for macrolide resistance mutations by PCR. PCR on stool samples is not yet developed.
