| Summary, etc. | L’article part de l’observation que, derrière une apparence de pluralité, les langues romanes représentent une unité linguistique et culturelle hybride qui permettrait d’envisager un grand projet de développement géopolitique durable à la dimension de l’espace romanophone et romanophile. L’une des questions qui se pose alors est de savoir quel(s) mode(s) d’intercommunication pourrai(en)t favoriser un tel projet ? Après avoir évalué plusieurs modes d’intercommunication en usage dans les activités internationales de plusieurs secteurs de la société, l’auteur constate que, si certains secteurs sont fortement imprégnés par l’anglais international, d’autres le sont moins et auraient tout intérêt (quand ils ne le font pas encore) à faire le choix d’une stratégie de la synergie efficiente des multiples modes d’intercommunication romans au cœur de laquelle se trouve l’intercompréhension romane. L’éducation à l’intercompréhension romane pourrait être en effet un vecteur de révélation d’appartenance à la communauté romanophone et romanophile, et à partir de là, la compréhension mutuelle pourrait être un vecteur de facilitation des échanges, des réseaux et des mobilités et un vecteur de croissance économique. |

| Summary, etc. | This article begins by observing that, despite their appearance of diversity, Romance languages form a hybrid linguistic and cultural unity on the basis of which it is possible to conceive of a large project of sustainable geopolitical development ; this project would be equal in magnitude to the world of those who speak and appreciate these languages. One must then ask which mode or modes of intercommunication could help foster such a project. After assessing various forms of intercommunication used in the international activities of several sectors of society, the author observes that, while international English has fully pervaded some sectors, this is less the case in other sectors. The latter could benefit from choosing (if they have not done so already) a strategy focused on the operative synergy of the many modes of Latin intercommunication, at the heart of which is found Romance language intercomprehension. Training in this intercomprehension could serve as a vector that reveals one’s belonging to the community of those who speak and appreciate Romance languages ; on that basis, mutual comprehension could become a vector for facilitating exchange, networking and movement as well as for economic growth. |
