| Summary, etc. | Résumé : Les archives de Šamaš-hazir représentent l’un des principaux apports de la documentation cunéiforme à l’histoire agraire de la Mésopotamie à l’époque amorrite (2000-1600 av. J.-C.). Ce dignitaire fut le responsable du domaine royal de Hammurabi, roi de Babylone (1792-1750 av. J.-C.), dans la province de Larsa conquise en 1763 av. J.-C. Environ deux-cents documents comprenant des lettres écrites à Šamaš-hazir par le roi ou ses ministres, des listes de champs, des registres de récoltes, ou encore des rapports d’activités laissés par les arpenteurs et les exploitants illustrent la politique agricole du roi babylonien. Cette étude met l’accent d’une part sur la concession des tenures aux serviteurs du Palais, et d’autre part sur la culture des champs d’orge et la collecte des récoltes envoyées à Babylone. En outre, elle s’attache à mettre en lumière les acteurs de l’administration, palatiale et provinciale, ainsi que la rédaction et la circulation des différents documents relatifs à la gestion du domaine royal. |

| Summary, etc. | Abstract: Šamaš-hazir's archives are one of the main contributions of the cuneiform documentation to the agrarian history of Mesopotamia at the Amorite time (2000-1600 BC). This dignitary was the manager of the royal domain of Hammurabi, king of Babylon (1792-1750 BC), in the province of Larsa conquered in 1763 BC. About two hundred documents including letters written to Šamaš-hazir by the king or his ministers, lists of fields, harvest registers, and activity reports drawn up by land surveyors and farmers illustrate the agricultural policy of the Babylonian king. This study will focus, on the one hand, on the concession of land tenures to the servants of the Crown, and on the other hand on the cultivation of barley fields and the collecting of crops sent to Babylon. Furthermore, it will endeavour to highlight the actors of the palatial and provincial administration as well as the writing and circulation of the various documents relating to the management of the royal domain. |

Este dignitario fue responsable del dominio real de Hammurabi, rey de Babiblonia (1792-1750 A.C.) en la provincia de Larsa conquistada en 1763. Unos doscientos documentos, entre los cuales figuran cartas escritas a Šamaš-hazir por el rey o sus ministros, listas de parcelas, registros de cosechas o informes de sus actividades por parte de agrimensores o labradores, ilustran la política agrícola del rey babilonio. Este estudio insiste por una parte, en la concesión de tenencias a criados del Palacio y, por otra, en el cultivo de la cebada y en la recolección de las cosechas mandadas a Babilonia. Además, se esfuerza en poner el acento sobre los actores de la administración, palaciega y provincial, así como en la redacción y circulación de varios documentos relativos a la gestión del dominio real. |
