Né à Laval dans les années 1930, le groupe d’abord appelé Besnier du nom de son fondateur a connu une croissance considérable après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. On retrace ici d’abord l’évolution de cette entreprise familiale autour de toute une série d’acquisitions en France puis à l’international. On s’intéresse ensuite aux choix effectués par la direction de l’entreprise tels qu’on peut les reconstituer encore assez partiellement. Enfin, on revient sur les événements des dernières années qui ont mis dans l’actualité un groupe longtemps fier de sa discrétion. |
