| Summary, etc. | This article uses the concepts of “communication” and “incommunication” developed by Dominique Wolton in order to examine the relations between the European Union and Russia in the aftermath of the Ukrainian crisis and the sanctions against Russia. These two concepts not only provide a frame of reference for approaching the state of relations between the two (former) partners, but also serve as keys for rethinking the nature of these relations in other terms. |
