| Summary, etc. | La Belle Époque concentre nombre de revendications ouvrières en France. Les campagnes ne sont pas en reste comme le montrent les mouvements emblématiques des vignerons du Midi. Dans les Landes forestières, les gemmeurs, ou résiniers, s’organisent et se structurent à travers des organisations syndicales. Ils conduisent ainsi plusieurs mouvements sociaux d’envergure en 1906 et 1907, qui bousculent des rapports sociaux anciens et complexes. En tentant d’améliorer leurs conditions, ces ouvriers de la forêt se construisent également une identité. |

| Summary, etc. | The turn-of-the-century era or Belle Époque was a particularly intense period of working-class demands in France. Rural regions were just as active in this regard, as shown by the iconic winegrowers' revolts in the South of France. In the forested areas of the Landes, the gemmeurs, also called résiniers [resin tappers], organized and structured their group through the creation of trade unions. They ended up launching several massive protest movements in 1906 and 1907, upsetting an ancient and complex set of social relationships. While trying to improve their situation, these workers of the forests also built a new identity for themselves. |

El campo no va a la zaga como lo demuestran los movimientos emblemáticos de los cosecheros de vino del Midi. En las Landas forestales, los sangradores de pinos, o resineros, se organizan y estructuran por medio de organizaciones sindicales. Protagonizan varios movimientos sociales de gran alcance en 1906 y 1907 que sacuden unas relaciones sociales antiguas y complejas. Al intentar mejorar sus condiciones, estos trabajadores forestales se construyen su propia identidad. |
