| Summary, etc. | Cet article discute de l’intérêt de la notion interactionniste de monde social pour les études de journalisme. L’approche se veut ancrée et souple, et le spectre des acteurs considérés dans l’analyse dépasse très largement les seuls professionnels du journalisme. Les apports beckeriens et straussiens s’avèrent en effet particulièrement féconds pour repeupler les mondes du journalisme de l’ensemble des acteurs qui le composent. Il s’agit en fait de proposer une démarche scientifique particulière, héritière d’un réseau de recherche interdisciplinaire et international. Cette proposition tend à saisir les transformations incrémentales des mondes du journalisme, et observables selon nous à travers trois notions clés que nous pensons de manière combinée : les carrières, les conventions et l’attachement. |

| Summary, etc. | This article discusses the benefits of the interactionist concept of the social world for journalism studies. The approach aims to be both grounded and flexible, and the shadow cast by the actors under consideration extends well beyond the realm of professional journalists. The contributions of Becker and Strauss provide an especially fruitful means for replenishing the worlds of journalism and the group of actors who compose them. This involves proposing a specific scientific approach that draws on an interdisiplinary and international research network; it strives to grasp the incremental transformations of the worlds of journalism which, as we argue, become observable in relation to three key, interrelated factors: careers, conventions, and commitments. |
