| Summary, etc. | Issu de la révolution industrielle, le kitsch met en œuvre une esthétique conformiste et consensuelle mobilisant la sentimentalité tel le dénominateur commun de toute entente collective : haut lieu de partage et de communication au sein de la culture de masse, il assure le rôle rempli par le cliché et le stéréotype dans la pensée et le discours. Cet article retrace la genèse du kitsch et tente sa définition pour, enfin, en interroger la résistance dans notre société fascinée par le numérique : elle est excellente !Produits de l’instantanéité de l’information, les memes internet questionnent les secousses politiques, médiatiques, et les rapports sociaux. Dans les forums imageboards où ils livrent bataille au politiquement correct, les internautes se jouent avec désillusion de l’ambiguïté entre utilité et nocivité des stéréotypes. Dans un jeu aussi périlleux qu’audacieux, ils malmènent les imaginaires par leurs inépuisables réinterprétations. |
