| Summary, etc. | Les relations entre un fermier et ses ouvriers agricoles (domestiques et saisonniers) dans les Pays-Bas méridionaux durant le xviii e siècle ont été jusqu’ici très peu abordées dans l’historiographie. Nous souhaitons y remédier au moyen de procès opposant un fermier et ses ouvriers ainsi que d’autres affaires judiciaires dans lesquelles ils interviennent. Les fermes, cadres des procès, se situent dans trois régions agricoles : le nord du comté de Hainaut, le comté de Namur et le Roman Pays de Brabant. L’objectif poursuivi par cet article consiste à préciser la nature de leurs relations à partir de leurs premières interactions jusqu’aux dernières. |

| Summary, etc. | The relationships between farmers and their farmworkers (servants and seasonal workers) in the southern Netherlands during the eighteenth century have so far been little studied in historiography. We would like to remedy this through court cases opposing farmers and their workers, as well as other court cases in which they were involved. The farms which provided the backdrop to these court cases were located in three agricultural regions: the north of the county of Hainaut, the county of Namur and the Roman Pays of Brabant. The goal of this article is to specify the contents of their relationships from their first interactions down to their last ones. |

| Summary, etc. | Resumen Las relaciones entre un labrador y sus jornaleros (domésticos permanentes y temporeros) en los Países Bajos meridionales durante el siglo XVIII han sido muy poco estudiadas hasta aquí. Queremos remediar esto gracias a pleitos donde se enfrentan un labrador y sus jornaleros así como otros asuntos judiciales donde intervienen. Las fincas, marco geográfico de los pleitos, se ubican en tres regiones agrícolas: el norte del condado de Hainaut, el condado de Namur y el Roman País de Brabante. El objetivo de este trabajo es aportar precisiones sobre la naturaleza de sus relaciones desde las primeras interacciones hasta las últimas. |
