Célébration du corps, des sens, de l’insouciance, de la lenteur, de l’affectivité, de la curiosité, présence active au monde, elle remet en contact avec soi et avec la sensation d’exister. En reprenant pied dans son existence, le marcheur redécouvre son corps sous un autre jour en baignant dans le plein vent du monde, sans effort, presque par jeu. La marche est une valorisation paradoxale de la lenteur. |

It is a way of marching to a different beat, one that counters the trend toward immobility and subordination to technique. Walking celebrates the body, meaning, lightheartedness, slowness, openness to our emotions, curiosity; it is an active presence to the world that puts us back in touch with ourselves and the sensation of existing. By regaining a footing in their own existence, walkers rediscover their bodies in a different way, bathing effortlessly in the outside world, almost as if they were playing. Walking is a paradoxical appreciation of slowness. |
