| Summary, etc. | The Scandinavian countries have a long tradition of media and digital literacy education. Generally adopting a broad conception of digital literacy, media and digital literacy education goes beyond the simple technical mastery of tools, taking note of the fact that the rapid digitisation of society is making the relationship between digital skills, school curricula and citizenship training more complex. Finland and Sweden have contrasting approaches to these issues, the former favouring a balanced use of digital tools and textbooks, the latter initially favouring an all-digital approach before returning to textbooks in the face of falling pupil performance. This article shows how digital literacy education is accompanied in each country by distinctive curricular reforms and teacher training. |

| Summary, etc. | Les pays scandinaves ont une longue tradition d’éducation aux médias et à la littératie numérique. Adoptant, de façon générale, une conception extensive de la littératie numérique, l’éducation aux médias et à la littératie numérique y dépasse la simple maîtrise technique des outils, prenant acte du fait que la numérisation rapide de la société complexifie les relations entre compétences numériques, curriculums scolaires et formation citoyenne. La Finlande et la Suède ont, sur ces enjeux, des approches contrastées, la première favorisant un usage équilibré des outils numériques et des manuels, la seconde ayant d’abord privilégié le tout-numérique avant de revenir aux manuels, face à la baisse des performances des élèves. Cet article montre comment l’éducation à la littératie numérique s’accompagne, dans chaque pays, de réformes curriculaires et d’une formation des enseignants distinctives. |
