Summary, etc. | Le but fondamental de la sélection du personnel est d’évaluer la capacité de l’individu à bien exécuter le travail ou à recevoir la formation, afin de choisir le candidat adéquat. Selon Aycan (2005), il y a un manque de recherche sur la convenance des critères de sélection selon les contextes. L’objectif de cet article est donc de combler ce manque en explorant les méthodes de sélection du personnel à la formation dans le contexte des PME camerounaises. Pour y arriver, une méthode qualitative a été employée pour la collecte des données. Des entretiens semi-directifs ont été réalisés auprès des propriétaires dirigeants nationaux en face-à-face. Trois PME ont fait l’objet de l’analyse et de la discussion des cas. Il ressort de l’étude des cas que, le dirigeant, dans un comportement paternaliste, a davantage tendance à sélectionner les membres de la famille. |

Summary, etc. | The fundamental goal of employee selection is to evaluate the capacity of individual, which perform well at work or receive training, in order to choose the right employee. According to Aycan (2005), there is a lack of research on the suitability of criteria in different contexts. The objective of this paper is to fill this gap by exploring the methods of employee selection to the training in the context of Cameroonian SMEs. To achieve this, a qualitative method was used for data collection, and semi-structured interviews were conducted with owners of national leaders by face-to-face. Three SMEs have been the main of analysis and discussion of cases. It was found that, the leader, in a paternalist behavior, is more tends to select the members of the family. |
