| Summary, etc. | À la suite du séminaire dédié au care organisé pendant plusieurs années au sein du programme « Éthique et Information » de l’axe de recherche IV dans le cadre du laboratoire GERIICO, Marianne Cailloux et Camille Moret définissent la notion en ce qu’elle concerne aussi les métiers de la documentation et plus particulièrement les milieux archivistiques. Elles dressent un panorama des différentes initiatives entre la sphère francophone et le milieu anglo-saxon, en s’appuyant sur un état de l’art théorique bibliographique à jour et sur les expériences professionnelles des archivistes australiens, force motrice dans la pratique mondiale. Il s’agit de proposer une revue des pistes actuellement en cours d’élaboration et d’expérimentation dans tant la mise en accès des documents, la recherche documentaire, l’exposition patrimoniale, l’accompagnement des requérant.e.s documentaires mais aussi des professionnel.le.s travaillant avec des fonds et des collections sensibles. |

| Summary, etc. | For several years now, the “Axis IV” research group engaged in a scientific program about Information & Ethics, within the research laboratory of GERIICO; one seminar was dedicated to the exploration of care ethics in information sciences. Within this framework, Marianne Cailloux and Camille Moret worked to define the notion of the ethics of care in documentary professions, with a focus on archives. They provide an overview of the different initiatives between the French-speaking sphere and the Anglo-Saxon environment, based on the field’s literature review and on the professional experiences of Australian archivists. This article also reviews current avenues of practice in the areas of access to records, archival research, heritage professional practice and outreach. It also explores how users and providers are supported in the engagement process, especially with regards to sensitive - and sometimes trauma inducing - collections. |
