Summary, etc. Video analysis of parent-child interactions enables us to observe the interactive sequences involved in an infant’s socio-cognitive development. The application of video-feedback interventions in a pediatric consultation setting provides a highly innovative route for early preventive programs. Through a series of case studies, the feasibility and acceptability of an early video-feedback intervention in a public Italian Pediatric Primary Care Unit, adapted from Video Intervention Therapy (PC-VIT), will be described. The intervention aims to support caregivers’ sensitivity and mentalization during the first year of a child’s life. This series of case studies presented here indicate that PC-VIT deserves to be seen as a promising tool for pediatricians, enabling assessment and intervention of both physical and mental health issues.
