| Summary, etc. | La prise en charge par un proche d’une personne en fin de vie à domicile est influencée par de nombreux facteurs. Pour mieux comprendre de quelle manière ils s’articulent et interagissent, un modèle systémique intégré a été élaboré dans le cadre d’un programme national suisse. Il montre, d’une part, les facteurs de stress et les ressources mobilisables issus des différents niveaux du système (micro-, méso-et macro-système) et, d’autre part, que tout ne repose pas sur le proche aidant et le patient – les politiques, les institutions et les professionnels ayant aussi un rôle à jouer. Aussi, pour que cette expérience soit vécue de manière satisfaisante et que les proches aidants reçoivent le soutien adéquat, il importe d’intervenir à tous les niveaux du système. |

| Summary, etc. | Dying at home: modelling a complex situationInformal caregiving at home for a person at the end of life is determined by a number of different factors. An integrated model has been elaborated in the context of a Swiss national research program, with the aim of a better understanding of the diverse interactions und effects. It shows how stressors and available resources originate at different levels of the system (micro-, meso-, and macrosystem) and, therefore, not only the caregiver and the patient are to be considered, but politics, institutions and professionals as well. Thus, in order to ensure a satisfactory experience for all actors concerned, and to adequately support informal caregivers, it is important to get involved at all levels of the system. |
