| Summary, etc. | La voix : éphémère, elle se détache du corps, comme d’autres objets partiels. Projetée à l’extérieur, elle revient aux oreilles des fous comme une mauvaise nouvelle, à moins qu’ils ne se lancent dans une quête éperdue pour coller à la voix de l’autre, à moins qu’ils n’essaient de garder la voix de l’autre à l’intérieur d’eux-mêmes. On la cherche, on la perd, elle se casse. Infidèle compagne, elle est pourtant toujours là, entre le silence et le cri. Jamais elle n’est aussi vraie que lorsqu’elle apparaît marquée de défauts, de défaillance. Ce texte est le fruit de réflexions qui s’étaient esquissées au fur et à mesure de mon travail à la clinique de Laborde, et plus particulièrement de mon travail dans « l’atelier chant ». |

| Summary, etc. | The voice is ephemeral in nature, detaching itself from the body like other partial objects. Projected outwards, it comes echoing back to those who are mad like a bad piece of news, or else they embark on a hopeless quest to adhere to the other’s voice, or endeavour to keep the voice inside their own head. They seek out the voice, lose it, or the voice disintegrates, an unfaithful companion, yet ever present, somewhere between silence and screaming. Never is the voice as true as when it shows its faults and weaknesses. This text is the fruit of explorations first elaborated upon out during my work at the Laborde clinic, and more particularly in the ‘singing workshop.’ |
