520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. |
520 ## - SUMMARY, ETC. | |
Summary, etc. | The author of this paper presents his theory of the hallucinatory and describes its presence within the primary bond (baby at the breast) in detail. During analysis, the analyst’s maximum adjustment activates the patient’s hallucinatory capacities which in turn plays a key role in transference; for the patient it seems that the analyst understands everything and the he is, in short, ‘like him.’The hallucinatory dimension thus becomes a ‘hallucination of transference’, giving impetus to the emergence of representations of ‘transferential love’ (Freud). Primary representations created through sensoriality are polymorphic and it is important to receive and use them all by linking them to language. Numerous clinical examples, of which one is highly conclusive, are developed and analysed in detail, as a means of illustrating the theoretical elements put forward. |
