| Summary, etc. | RésuméTel que défini par le CIRET3, le concept de transdisciplinarité recouvre et dépasse celui d’interdisciplinarité et s’avère bien plus exigeant. Plusieurs points-clés de la charte de la transdisciplinarité (annexe) sont par ailleurs en parfaite cohérence avec la philosophie des soins palliatifs : l’équipe se situe entre, à travers et au-delà des disciplines professionnelles ; la personne soignée est placée au centre des préoccupations des soignants et l’équipe s’engage à accompagner la personne dans toutes ses dimensions, y compris au niveau spirituel. Dès lors, pourquoi ne pas intégrer le concept de transdisciplinarité dans les chartes de nos équipes de soins palliatifs ceci dans le but d’améliorer la qualité de l’offre en soins ? |

| Summary, etc. | As defined by CIRET, the concept of transdisciplinarity encompasses, and goes beyond interdisciplinarity. It is more demanding. Several key points of the charter of transdisciplinarity (attached), are furthermore in perfect coherence with the philosophy of palliative care : the team is situated between and beyond professional disciplines ; the person receiving care is placed at the centre of health care providers’ concerns and the team commits to accompanying this person in every one of her dimensions, including spiritually. This being so, why not integrate the concept of transdisciplinarity in our charters with the aim of enhancing the quality of care ? |
