S’inscrivant le plus souvent en rupture avec la théorie économique standard, cette perspective a été principalement élaborée par les traditions évolutionniste et autrichienne pour expliquer le lien entre innovation et développement économique. Toutefois, cette conception de la fonction de l’entrepreneur vient masquer une autre approche, inaugurée par Marshall et développée par Penrose, dont l’intérêt est de proposer une image différente de l’action de l’entrepreneur permettant d’introduire, entre l’innovation et le développement économique, le rôle de l’organisation industrielle.Classification JEL : B13, B25, L20, L26, O31 |

| Summary, etc. | The entrepreneur is traditionally considered, in the economic analysis, as the core of continuous innovative process which characterizes modern economies. Often positioned as an alternative of the standard economic theory, this framework was mainly elaborated by the evolutionist and Austrian traditions to explain the link between innovation and economic development.
