| Summary, etc. | RésuméLa réhabilitation psychosociale constitue actuellement l’un des lieux de réflexion les plus féconds en matière de politique de santé mentale. Elle propose aussi des techniques spécifiques et éprouvées d’accompagnement aux personnes souffrant de pathologie mentale sévère, et se fonde sur des actions destinées à la fois à ces personnes et à la société dans son ensemble. L’auteur se propose de rendre compte des caractéristiques principales de ce mouvement et de les comparer à celles de la psychothérapie institutionnelle afin de déterminer en quoi cette dernière peut trouver dans la réhabilitation les conditions nécessaires à une actualisation des hypothèses fondamentales qui la traversent. Au-delà, c’est de la question du politique en psychiatrie dont il sera question. |

| Summary, etc. | Psychosocial rehabilitation and institutional psychotherapy.Psychosocial rehabilitation is currently one of the richest areas of reflexion in the field of mental health policy. It proposes specific and tried and tested methods which are used to provide assistance to people with serious mental disorders, and are aimed both at these people and society as a whole. The author describes the primary characteristics of this movement and goes on to compare them with those of institutional psychotherapy in order to determine the extent to which institutional psychotherapy can find, in rehabilitation, the conditions required to update the fundamental hypotheses on which it is based. Beyond this, it becomes a question of mental health policy. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenLa rehabilitación psicosocial constituye actualmente una de las reflexiones más fecundas en materia de política de salud mental. Propone técnicas específicas, cuya eficacia ha sido demostrada en el acompañamiento de personas con patologías mentales severas, que se basan en acciones destinadas tanto a esta personas como a la sociedad en su conjunto. El artículo pasa en revista las principales características de este movimiento y las compara a las de la psicoterapia institucional con el objetivo de determinar la forma en la que esta última puede encontrar en la rehabilitación una oportunidad de actualizar las hipótesis fundamentales en las que se funda. El artículo aborda también la cuestión de la política en psiquiatría. |
