| Summary, etc. | RésuméSi l’inscription du handicap psychique dans la loi du 11/02/2005 signe le succès dans la réalisation de l’objectif : cibler une population et ses besoins, le challenge d’organiser une réponse de qualité à ces besoins se heurte à deux écueils :trouver une zone d’articulation entre secteur sanitaire et médico-social autour de concepts partagés concernant la maladie psychiatrique et la production du handicap psychique ;reconnaître et entre en mesure d’évaluer ce handicap. |

Round tableWhile the inclusion of mental handicap in the Act dated 11 February 2005 can be heralded as a success since it achieves certain objectives, i.e. it targets a population and its needs, there are two obstacles to being able to organise a quality response to these needs:finding a common ground between the health and medical-social sectors covering shared ideas about mental illness and mental handicap;recognising and being able to evaluate this handicap. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenLa inscripción del hándicap psíquico en la ley del 11/02/2005 es muy satisfactoria puesto que permite alcanzar el objetivo de identificar una población y las necesidades de ésta. Sin embargo el reto de organizar una respuesta de calidad frente a dichas necesidades debe superar dos dificultades :definir una zona de articulación entre el sector sanitario y el médico-social en la que se puedan compartir conceptos sobre la enfermedad psiquiátrica y la producción del hándicap psíquico ;reconocer y ser capaz de evaluar este hándicap. |
