Summary, etc. Cet article a pour but de mettre en résonance les conditions d’accueil des jeunes des quartiers populaires en France et l’expérience de création des clubs de jeunes par l’association Beit Ham en Israël. La rencontre avec cette association et ses fondateurs a nourri notre intervention en France auprès des collectivités territoriales ; nous avons retenu particulièrement comment, dans un climat de méfiance à l’égard de ces jeunes, ouvrir des lieux constitue une prise de risque démocratique et éducative. Nous montrons ainsi dans ce texte que les principes comme le refus de l’exclusion, dans une dynamique de psychothérapie institutionnelle, permettent de créer de nouvelles approches de la médiation. Les travaux de recherche de Dominique Rividi rendent compte de cette expérience de longue durée et poursuivent celle-ci sur un plan conceptuel. Ainsi la notion de « lieu » est importante pour créer des processus de paix et de créativité nécessaires aux adolescents. Nous montrons que ce travail mené en Israël est un point d’appui pour le contexte français.

Summary, etc. The purpose of this article is to bring the way that young people from lower-class neighbourhoods are considered in France, into resonance with the experience of youth clubs creation achieved in Israel by the Beit-Ham association. Meeting with this association and its founders has filled out our intervention in France with local authorities; especially as we have found how, in an atmosphere of distrust towards these youngsters, opening places means taking a democratic and educative risk. We will show here how principles such as refusing exclusion in a dynamic of institutional psychotherapy, allow to create new approaches for mediation. Dominique Rividi’s research work reflects this long-term experience and carries on with it, on a conceptual level. The notion of « place » is thus important to create processes of peace and creativity that are necessary for adolescents. We will explain how this work undertaken in Israel can be of support for the French context.

Summary, etc. Con este artículo, el propósito es poner en resonancia las condiciones en las cuales se acoge en Francia a jóvenes de los barrios populares, con la experiencia de los clubs de jóvenes creados en Israel por la asociación Beit-Ham. El encuentro de esta asociación y de sus fundadores ha alimentado nuestra intervención en Francia acerca de las colectividades territoriales; lo que más mereció atención era el riesgo democrático y educativo que se toma cuando se abre lugares, en un ambiente de desafío contra estos jóvenes. Y en este texto, demostramos de qué manera los principios como el rechazo de la exclusión en dinámicas de psicoterapia institucional, permiten crear nuevas maneras de abordar la mediación. El trabajo de investigación de Dominique Rividi presenta esta experiencia de larga duración y prosigue ésta a un nivel conceptual. Así la noción de « lugar » es importante para crear procesos de paz y de creatividad necesarios para los adolescentes. Mostramos también como este trabajo llevado a cabo en Israel constituye un punto de apoyo para el contexto francés.
