| Summary, etc. | La mise en avant des multiples pollutions et accidents liés aux activités chimiques, conjuguée à la montée en puissance de la demande sociale pour le développement d’activités plus en phase avec les principes du développement durable, orientent depuis plus de deux décennies le secteur de la chimie vers de nouvelles pratiques et de nouveaux produits. En particulier se développent au sein de ce secteur de nouveaux produits et process conçus selon des principes de durabilité (les 12 principes de la green chemistry) et basés sur les ressources renouvelables végétales. C’est ce que nous appelons la « Chimie Doublement Verte » (C2V) (Nieddu et al., 2010). Le but de cette communication est d’étudier s’il y a convergence ou divergence de la composante technico-scientifique du nouveau système sectoriel d’innovation (SSI) de la Chimie Doublement Verte. Notre cadre théorique renvoie aux travaux du courant « sustainability transition management » (Grin et al., 2010). Nous menons cette étude à deux endroits différents du secteur : d’abord au niveau académique, ensuite au niveau des développements industriels. Nos investigations nous ont mené à la conclusion qu’il y avait un maintien durable de la diversité des voies technologiques développées pour se secteur. |

| Summary, etc. | The divergence within the technical and scientific part of the new sectoral system of the doubly green chemistrySince the last two decades, the rise of environmental concerns has led the sector of chemistry to develop new practices and new products. In particular, new products and processes, based on biomass as renewable resources, have been developed. This is what we term the “Doubly Green Chemistry” (2GV) (Nieddu et al., 2010). The aim of this paper is to investigate if there is convergence or divergence of the technical-scientific components of the new sectoral system of innovation (SSI) of the C2V. Our theoretical framework relates to « sustainability transition management » works (Grin et al., 2010). We have conducted this study in two areas of this sector: firstly we have focused on academic research, then on industrial innovations. Our investigations have led us to the conclusion that there is a long-term stability of the diversity of technological pathways developed in this sector. |
