Cet article ne se veut pas une discussion de ce concept ou de ses usages. Il synthétise deux livres formant un diptyque décrivant ce qu’est l’innovation frugale dans les pays pauvres (Radjou, Prabhu, Ahuja, 2013) et ce qu’elle pourrait être dans les pays riches (Radjou, Prabhu, 2015).Codes JEL : O31 |

Some authors define any ultra-low cost and resource-efficient product or service for poor people as a frugal innovation. They often use a single criterion proposed by Radjou and co-authors to differentiate frugal innovation. This article does not discuss this concept or its uses.
