| Summary, etc. | Le neurofeedback est une méthode thérapeutique non invasive consistant à mesurer l’activité d’une ou de plusieurs régions cérébrales chez un sujet et à lui présenter en temps réel l’enregistrement de cette activité. Grâce à ce dispositif, les participants peuvent apprendre à contrôler l’activité neuronale d’une ou de plusieurs région(s) cérébrale(s) déterminée(s), en se basant sur le feedback en temps réel des mesures d’activité de la cible retenue. Dans cet article de synthèse, nous exposons les principales utilisations thérapeutiques du neurofeedback (utilisant l’électroencéphalographie ou l’imagerie par résonance magnétique fonctionnelle) en psychiatrie et nous discutons les perspectives offertes par cette technique. |

| Summary, etc. | Neurofeedback in psychiatry : brain imaging and neurophysiology – tools used in therapeutic supportNeurofeedback is a non-invasive therapeutic technique which consists of measuring the activity of one or more cerebral regions in a patient and presenting a real-time recording of this activity. With this method, based on the real-time feedback of measurement activity from selected targets, participants can achieve voluntary control of neural activity for one or more cerebral regions. In this review article, the therapeutic uses of neurofeedback in psychiatry (by means of electroencephalography or functional magnetic resonance imaging) are described and perspectives offered by this technique are discussed. |

Merced a este dispositivo, los participantes pueden aprender a controlar la actividad neuronal de una o varias regiones cerebrales determinadas, basándose en el feedback en tiempo real de las medidas de actividad de la diana elegida. En este artículo de síntesis, exponemos las principales utilizaciones terapéuticas del neurofeedback (utilizando la electroencefalografía o la imagen por resonancia magnética funcional) en psiquiatría y discutimos las perspectivas que ofrece esta técnica. |
