| Summary, etc. | Cet article fournit une analyse empirique des facteurs explicatifs de l’écart de création technologique entre la Chine et les pays africains. L’analyse porte sur un échantillon de 8 pays africains, plus la Chine, et couvre la période 1995-2012. En utilisant les données du LEAD (2014) et Heritage Foundation (2014), il apparaît qu’en moyenne les pays africains accusent un retard en matière de création d’innovations par rapport à la Chine. Les résultats économétriques obtenus à l’aide d’une analyse en données de panel montrent que la corruption, les infrastructures technologiques et le capital humain expliquent ce retard.Code JEL : O30, O57, N70 |

| Summary, etc. | This article supplies an empirical analysis of the explanatory factors of the gap from technological creation between China and African countries. The analysis concerns a sample of 8 African countries, more China, and covers the period 1995-2012. By using the data of the LEAD (2014) and Inheritance Foundation (2014), it seems that on average the African countries lag behind regarding creation of innovations with regard to China. The econometric results obtained by means of an analysis in data of panel show that the corruption, the technological infrastructures and human capital explain this delay.JEL Codes: O30, O57, N70 |
