| Summary, etc. | Résumé Le traitement de l’autisme est un thème controversé depuis environ quatre décennies. La première description formelle de l’autisme par Leo Kanner dans les années 1940 mettait l’accent notamment sur l’évolution d’un trouble neurodéveloppemental assez homogène et n’évoquait pas la possibilité d’un traitement. À l’heure actuelle, il est question de souscrire à un type de prise en charge qui oscille entre l’approche comportementale et celui de type cognitive. Cependant, d’autres propositions de traitement sont envisagées, nous analyserons deux d’entre elles. |

| Summary, etc. | The treatment of autism has been a controversial topic for approximately four decades. The first formal description of autism by Leo Kanner in the 1940s focused on the evolution of a fairly homogeneous neurodevelopmental disorder and did not mention the possibility of any treatment. Currently, it is a question of subscribing to a type of care that shifts between the behavioral approach and that of a cognitive type. However, other treatment proposals are being considered, and we will analyze two of them. |

La primera descripción formal del autismo por Leo Kanner en los años 40 ponía el énfasis especialmente en la evolución de un trastorno neurodesarrollista bastante homogéneo sin hacer mención de la posibilidad de un tratamiento. Actualmente, está al orden del día suscribir cierto tipo de atención que oscila entre el enfoque comportamental y el de tipo cognitivo. Sin embargo, se están considerando otras propuestas de tratamiento de las que analizaremos dos. |
