| Summary, etc. | La médiation animale intervient en complément des soins psychiatriques habituels. Elle apparaît comme vecteur de « care » souvent opposé au « cure » qui prédomine dans toute prise en charge médicale. L’association du psychiatre et de son chien peut-elle réconcilier ces deux dimensions de la prise en charge psychiatrique ? Dans un tel cas, le chien pourrait-il prétendre à une « carrière » en consultation psychiatrique ? L’objectif est de décrire la spécificité de cette association et des processus à l’œuvre. Avec le chien, le cadre est « différent, d’emblée plus chaleureux ». Ses capacités « d’apprivoisement » humanisent la relation soignant-soigné et déstigmatise la psychiatrie. L’animal apparaît aussi comme un soignant à part entière au cours de la consultation. |

| Summary, etc. | Animal mediation is used as a complement to usual psychiatric care. It appears as a vector of “care” that is often opposed to the notion of “cure” that prevails in all medical care. Can the collaboration between the psychiatrist and their dog reconcile these two dimensions of psychiatric care? In such a case, could the dog claim to have a “career” in psychiatric consultations? The aim of this article is to describe the specificity of this collaboration and the processes at work. With the dog present, the atmosphere is “different, immediately warm.” The dog's “familiarization” abilities humanize the caregiver-patient relationship and destigmatize psychiatry. The animal also appears as a caregiver in its own right during the consultation. We conclude that there are multiple benefits to this approach, both for patients and for caregivers. |

Aparece como vehículo del « care » muchas veces opuesto al « cure » que predomina en cualquier atención médica. La asociación del psiquiatra y de su perro, ¿ puede ella reconciliar estas dos dimensiones de la atención psiquiátrica? En tal caso, ¿ podría el perro pretender a una « carrera » de consulta psiquiátrica? El objetivo es describir la especificidad de esta asociación y de los procesos de ejecución. Con el perro, el cuadro es « diferente, de entrada más cálido ». Sus capacidades « de familiarización » humanizan la relación cuidador-paciente y desestigmatiza la psiquiatría. El animal aparece también plenamente como un cuidador en el curso de la consulta. |
