| Summary, etc. | La professionnalisation des pairs aidants se développe depuis plusieurs années dans de nombreux pays. Il a été démontré que l’intégration de travailleurs pairs dans les services était possible, et que cela avait un impact positif sur les pratiques. En France, le Haut Conseil de la santé publique recommande de « poursuivre l’expérimentation sur les médiateurs pairs ». Dans notre étude, les soignants participants sont globalement favorables à l’intégration de travailleurs pairs au sein des équipes de soins. Malgré la verbalisation d’appréhensions, ils se déclarent intéressés pour travailler autour de ce concept. Les chiffres retrouvés permettent de soulever la question de la formation des différents professionnels, qui est un facteur préalable indispensable à ce type d’intégration. |

| Summary, etc. | The professionalization of peer helpers has been taking shape over several years in numerous countries. The integration of peer workers into services has been shown to be possible, and its positive impact on practice has also been reported. In France, the Public Health Council recommends “continuing to explore peer mediation.” In our study, participating care workers were generally in favor of peer worker integration in care teams. Whilst expressing a degree of apprehension, they stated their interest in working with this concept. Our findings call into focus issues pertaining to the training of different professionals, which represents an essential prerequisite for this type of integration. |

| Summary, etc. | ResumenLa profesionalización de los ayudantes de pares se está desarrollando desde hace varios años en muchos países. Se ha demostrado que la integración de los trabajadores pares en los servicios era posible y que ello tenía un impacto positivo en las prácticas. En Francia, el Haut Conseil de la Santé Publique (Consejo Superior de Salud Pública) recomienda “seguir experimentando con los mediadores entre iguales”. En nuestro estudio, los cuidadores participantes se muestran en general favorables a la integración de los trabajadores pares dentro de los equipos de atención. Aunque expresan cierta aprensión, se declaran interesados en trabajar con este concepto. Las cifras encontradas permiten plantear la cuestión de la formación de los distintos profesionales, que es un requisito esencial para este tipo de integración. |
