| Summary, etc. | Partant de l’idée du psychiatre Paul Guiraud, qui fait des certificats manuscrits de Clérambault un art, nous proposons une révision de l’évolution historique des certificats psychiatriques en France. Le constat est que les certificats se multiplient, tout comme les différents intervenants à qui on les adresse, au sein d’un contexte hospitalier et administratif actuellement en crise et qui modifie substantiellement les conditions de leur rédaction. Des discussions dans les années 1960 menées autour d’Henri Ey pour « abroger la loi de 1838 », jusqu’aux dernières modifications légales, nous retraçons les importants changements intervenus et qui orientent aujourd’hui la rédaction des certificats plutôt vers la technique. |

| Summary, etc. | Starting from Paul Guiraud’s ideas, who made an art out of Clérambault’s handwritten certificates, we propose a review of the historical evolution of psychiatric certificates in France. We observe an increase in both the number of certificates and the range of people to whom they were addressed, in the context of a hospital and administrative system in crisis, which substantially affected the conditions under which they were written. From the debates led by Henri Ey in the 1960s to “revoke the 1938 law,” to the latest legal modifications, we retrace the most important changes that have taken place and look at how they have influenced the more technological way in which certificates are written today. |

| Summary, etc. | Partiendo de la idea del psiquiatra Paul Guiraud, que hace un arte de los certificados manuscritos de Clérambault, proponemos una revisión de la evolución histórica de los certificados psiquiátricos en Francia. La constatación es que los certificados se multiplican, al igual que los distintos intervinientes a los que van dirigidos, en un contexto hospitalario y administrativo actualmente en crisis que modifica sustancialmente las condiciones de su elaboración. Desde las discusiones de los años sesenta encabezadas por Henri Ey para “derogar la ley de 1838”, hasta las últimas modificaciones legales, recogemos los importantes cambios que se han producido y que hoy orientan la redacción de los certificados más bien hacia la técnica. |
