| Summary, etc. | L’un des principaux objectifs de la recherche (clinique) est de fournir des preuves solides et vérifiables pour faire avancer l’ensemble des connaissances scientifiques. Alors qu’une grande attention a été donnée à la robustesse, par le biais d’avancées méthodologiques, je soutiens dans cet article qu’une plus grande attention à la transparence globale des résultats et processus de la recherche serait bénéfique à la fois à la vérifiabilité et à la robustesse des conclusions. Pour étayer cet argument, je développe et explique plusieurs nouvelles avancées méthodologiques préconisées par les spécialistes de l’ open science qui, selon moi, profiteraient à la recherche clinique et biologique. |

| Summary, etc. | One of the core goals of (clinical) research is to provide robust and verifiable evidence to advance knowledge. While much focus has been placed on robustness through methodological advances, I argue in this article that a greater focus on the overall transparency of research processes and outputs would benefit both the verifiability and robustness of findings. To support this argument, I explain and expand on several new methodological advances advocated by Open Science scholars which, I argue, would benefit clinical and biological research. |
