| Summary, etc. | Cet article vise à analyser les besoins à l’origine des alliances stratégiques dans le domaine de la santé. En s’inspirant de la pyramide des besoins de Maslow, nous avons dégagé cinq besoins « 5P » à l’origine des alliances stratégiques entre organisations sanitaires. Nous avons adopté une méthode de recherche qualitative fondée sur vingt-trois entretiens semi-directifs et des données secondaires permettant ainsi de valider les éléments de réponses à nos questionnements de départ. Notre application empirique nous a conduits à étudier les relations des alliances stratégiques entre plusieurs établissements de santé de l’île de la Réunion.L’article présente dans un premier temps, les spécificités des alliances stratégiques dans le secteur sanitaire. Ces relations se présentent suite à des besoins stratégiques.Dans un second temps, les résultats montrent que trois besoins sont à l’origine d’une alliance stratégique entre établissements de santé à savoir les besoins productifs et fonctionnels liés à l’existence ainsi que les besoins de pérennité des organisations de santé, les besoins de pertinence liés à l’efficacité et l’efficience du système de soins et enfin les besoins de prospérité liés à l’expansion et les besoins de performance. |

| Summary, etc. | This article aims to analyze the needs behind strategic alliances in the field of health. Taking inspiration from Maslow’s pyramid of needs, we identified five “5P” needs that led to strategic alliances between health organizations. We adopted a qualitative research method based on twenty-three semi-directive interviews and secondary data to validate the elements of answers to our initial questions. Our empirical application has led us to study the relationships of strategic alliances between several health institutions on Reunion Island.The article first presents the specificities of strategic alliances in the health sector. These relationships arise as a result of strategic needs.In a second step, the results show that three needs are at the origin of a strategic alliance between health establishments, namely the productive and functional needs linked to the existence as well as the needs of sustainability of the health organizations, the needs of relevance related to the effectiveness and efficiency of the health care system and finally the need for prosperity related to expansion and the need for performance. |
