| Summary, etc. | Le développement d’un vaste espace de liberté tarifaire, à partir de la création du double secteur tarifaire en 1980, a réhabilité le rôle du prix dans l’échange médical. Cette évolution significative fait levier aux valeurs libérales de la médecine et modifie la hiérarchie des valeurs à l’œuvre dans l’éthique médicale. Elle conduit à accélérer les inégalités d’accès aux soins tout en activant des dépenses publiques nouvelles. |

It leads to more spendthrift behaviour and inequalities, contrary to the declared objective of health insurance governance. |
