| Summary, etc. | RésuméCette étude commence par présenter la notion de « technoscience » dans ses rapports avec la Modernité et la Postmodernité. Elle développe ensuite une argumentation à l’appui des apports effectifs et potentiels de la technoscience à la préservation et à la promotion de la diversité (culturelle, technique, naturelle) dans le cadre de la mondialisation. Elle conclut en soulevant la question éthique importante qui échappe à l’approche esthétisante trop souvent propre au postmoderne : il ne faut pas que la diversité soit vécue comme inégalité et discrimination. |

| Summary, etc. | This study begins by presenting the notion of “technoscience” in relation to Modernity and Postmodernity. It proceeds with an argument in support of the real and potential contributions of technoscience for the preservation and promotion of diversity (cultural, technological and natural) in the context of globalization. It concludes by raising the important ethical issue that is eluded in the far too often postmodern esthetic approach: diversity should not be appropriated to inequality and discrimination. |
