| Summary, etc. | Comme partout dans le monde, la Bioéthique est un domaine encore très récent au Brésil. Les premières initiatives datent du milieu des années 1980 et son histoire se confond avec celle des institutions qui l’ont encouragée ou, comme dans certains cas, sont même originaires du mouvement intellectuel créé par cette désignation concernant ce nouveau domaine de connaissances philosophique et scientifique. Nous ne disposons pas encore de statistiques quant à la participation des médias dans la diffusion de la Bioéthique au Brésil, cependant, comme dirigeant d’une institution pionnière dans le cadre de programmes éducationnels et d’initiatives en Bioéthique de portée nationale, l’apperçu que nous pouvons établir indique que l’Internet, outre son utilisation en tant que moyen de communication, c’est-à-dire, communication au moyen des courriels électroniques, est aujourd’hui le média principal pour ce qui est de l’accès et de la diffusion de la production littéraire (philosophique et scientifique) en matière de Bioéthique. |

| Summary, etc. | The role of communication techniques in the dissemination of programmes linked to Bioethics in BrazilAs everywhere in the world, Bioethics is still a very recent domain in Brazil. The first initiatives date from the middle 1980s and its history goes hand in hand with that of institutions which encouraged it or, as in certain cases, are in fact born from the intellectual movement created by this designation concerning this new domain of philosophical and scientific knowledge. We still do not have statistics regarding the participation of the media in disseminating Bioethics in Brazil, but, as the leader of an institution that pioneered educational programmes and initiatives linked to Bioethics that reach our whole country, one may say that we can point out that the Internet, in addition to being a communication medium, that is to say, communication by means of electronic mails, is the main media as regards access to and broadcasting of literary (philosophical and scientific) production in Bioethics today. |
