| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose un relevé systématique, comparatif et analytique des correspondances entre les régionalismes présents en Nouvelle-Calédonie, d’une part, et ceux qui caractérisent les français d’Amérique (laurentien, acadien et louisianais) ainsi que le continuum créole/français antillais, d’autre part. Il identifie un certain nombre d’archaïsmes, mais aussi d’innovations communes, et se penche en particulier sur les diastratismes ayant connu des processus de réallocation dans les variétés d’outre-mer. En conclusion, le français de Nouvelle-Calédonie apparaît comme la « dernière frontière » d’un ex-empire colonial peuplé d’expatriés qui se sont construit une norme à eux, bien loin du carcan normatif de la métropole. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper proposes a systematic, comparative and analytical survey of the correspondences between regionalisms in New Caledonia, on the one hand, and in North-America (Laurentian, Acadian and Cajun French) and the Antilles (French and Creole), on the other. It identifies a number of archaisms but also a set of common innovations, and specifically deals with vulgarisms that have undergone reallocation processes in overseas varieties. In conclusion, New Caledonia French appears to be the “last frontier” of a former colonial empire populated by expatriates who have built a norm of their own, far from the normative weight of the metropolis. |
