| Summary, etc. | Cet article s’interroge sur la présence de formes intermédiaires correspondant à une étape de diaglossie (stade C, d’après Auer 2005) dans l’histoire de la diffusion du français, en particulier en ce qui concerne la période postclassique. Les exemples examinés sont tirés de textes documentaires inédits (à savoir un registre de propriétés et des mémoires d’ouvriers), rédigés en Haute-Normandie. L’éclairage qu’il apporte ne concerne qu’une zone située à la marge occidentale du Bassin parisien, mais ce ne doit pas être une situation exceptionnelle, au contraire. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper seeks to ascertain the existence of intermediate variants which are typical of a diaglossia situation (type C repertoire, according to Auer 2005) throughout the history of the expansion of French, with particular attention given to the classical period. The examples provided are found in original unpublished sources, including a property register and records written by laborers in Upper Normandy. Our contribution focuses only on a limited region located near the Parisian area, but may be representative of many other cases. |
