| Summary, etc. | L’étude de corpus présentée ici examine la variation entre la réalisation et l’omission du pronom sujet explétif il en français moderne parlé en France. Plus précisément, elle vise à répondre à la question de savoir si la fréquence de l’omission de il, ses restrictions syntaxiques et l’influence des facteurs diastratiques ont changé au cours des dernières décennies. Cet article représente un exemple de l’exploitation du corpus oral eslo dans une perspective micro-diachronique. La comparaison entre les deux parties du corpus, à 40 ans d’intervalle, démontre que l’omission de l’explétif a significativement augmenté sur le plan du temps réel, constituant ainsi un changement linguistique en cours. Outre la variation micro-diachronique découverte, l’analyse de corpus fait apparaître un ensemble de facteurs grammaticaux et sociolinguistiques exerçant un effet sur la variable de l’emploi de l’explétif il. |

| Summary, etc. | The corpus study presented here examines the variation between the realisation and the omission of the expletive subject pronoun il in modern French spoken in France. More precisely, it aims to answer the question of whether the frequency of the omission of il, its syntactic restrictions and the influence of diastratic factors have changed in the last decades. This article depicts an example of the exploitation of the oral corpus eslo in a micro-diachronic perspective. As a real-time analysis, the comparison of the two parts of the corpus, 40 years apart, shows a significant increase in the omission of the expletive, thus constituting a change in progress. Beyond the micro-diachronic variation discovered, the corpus analysis reveals a combination of grammatical and sociolinguistic factors exerting an effect on the variable of the use of expletive il. |
