| Summary, etc. | En 2018, l’Institut Pasteur de Madagascar a mené une recherche anthropologique sur la prise en charge de la prématurité selon la Méthode mère kangourou (MMK) consistant à porter un enfant prématuré sur le ventre, en contact peau contre peau et à pratiquer un allaitement maternel strict. Mise au point en Colombie, cette méthode conçue comme une alternative au manque de couveuses pour les bébés nés avant terme a été rapidement considérée comme un dispositif miracle pouvant être répliqué quel que soit le lieu et évoquant les modèles voyageurs. Les données ont été collectées dans un centre hospitalier de la capitale par les observations collectives et directes du déroulement de la MMK, les observations individuelles et les entretiens semi-directifs avec les soignants, les mères et les porteuses. Les résultats montrent les difficultés des acteurs à respecter strictement le modèle compte tenu d’un contexte qui les conduit à adapter la méthode à la réalité du terrain |

| Summary, etc. | In 2018, the Institut Pasteur in Madagascar conducted anthropological research on the care of premature infants using the kangaroo care method, which consists of carrying a premature baby on the stomach, in skin-to-skin contact and practising strict breastfeeding. Developed in Colombia, this method, conceived as an alternative to the lack of incubators for premature babies, was quickly considered as a miracle strategy that could be replicated anywhere, evoking traveler models. Data was collected in a hospital in Antananarivo, derived from collective and direct observations of the kangaroo process, individual observations and semi-structured interviews with caregivers, mothers and carriers. The results show the difficulties experienced by the different protagonists in adhering strictly to the model, in a context that leads them to adapt the method to the reality of the field. |

| Summary, etc. | En 2018, el Instituto Pasteur de Madagascar realizó una investigación antropológica sobre el manejo de la prematuridad según el Método madre canguro (MMK) que consiste en llevar a un bebé prematuro sobre el estómago, en contacto piel con piel y practicando la lactancia materna estricta. Desarrollado en Colombia como alternativa a la falta de incubadoras para los bebés prematuros, este método se consideró rápidamente como un dispositivo milagroso que podía reproducirse en cualquier lugar y evocó modelos de viaje. Los datos se recogieron en un hospital de la capital mediante observaciones colectivas y directas del proceso de MMK, observaciones individuales y entrevistas semidirectivas con cuidadores, madres y portadores. Los resultados muestran las dificultades de los actores para respetar estrictamente el modelo teniendo en cuenta un contexto que les lleva a adaptar el método a la realidad del terreno |
