| Summary, etc. | Afin de contribuer à l’amélioration de la santé mentale et la promotion de la santé pour tous, notre étude cherche à comprendre les représentations sociales et culturelles de la dépression et du suicide en contexte culturel africain. À l’aide d’une méthode mixte de recherche, des techniques d’entretien et un questionnaire seront adressés aux populations africaines du Québec et de la Côte d’Ivoire afin de faire ressortir les considérations subjectives pouvant servir à la prévention et la résilience face aux enjeux de dépression et de suicide. |

| Summary, etc. | To contribute to the promotion of mental health and the improvement of health for all, our study attempted to understand the social and cultural representations of depression and suicide in an African cultural context. Using a mixed research method, interviews and a questionnaire were administered to African populations in Quebec and Ivory Coast to identify subjective considerations that could be used for prevention and resilience towards the challenges of depression and suicide. |

| Summary, etc. | Para contribuir a la mejora de la salud mental y a la promoción de la salud para todos, nuestro estudio busca comprender las representaciones sociales y culturales de la depresión y el suicidio en un contexto cultural africano. Utilizando un método mixto de investigación, técnicas de entrevista y un cuestionario serán enviados a las poblaciones africanas de Quebec y Costa de Marfil con el fin de resaltar las consideraciones subjetivas que puedan ser útiles para la prevención y la promoción de la resiliencia frente a problemas de depresión y suicidio. |
