L’approche culturelle semble être le précurseur de l’instauration de l’alliance thérapeutique d’une part, et d’autre part permet d’accompagner de manière adaptée le patient jusqu’à la critique de sa symptomatologie. |

We report here on a patient from Mali who was convinced that he had leprosy. The cultural approach seemed on the one hand to be a precursor to the establishment of the therapeutic alliance, and on the other it enabled the patient to be supported in an appropriate manner until he was able to adopt a critical approach to his symptoms. |
