| Summary, etc. | Cet article analyse les flux RSS internationaux émis par 37 quotidiens d’information situés dans 16 États différents en se focalisant sur les mentions des États. Trois aspects sont étudiés : la hiérarchie entre États, les cooccurrences toujours présentes et enfin les effets de voisinage. Les résultats montrent une très forte concentration de l’actualité internationale, 20 % des États assurant au minimum 80 % des mentions pour l’ensemble des journaux du corpus. Quel que soit le point d’observation retenu, les États-Unis occupent une position prépondérante. L’étude des cooccurrences place aussi les États-Unis au centre, mais permet de révéler les principaux couples étatiques, qu’ils soient coopératifs ou conflictuels. Enfin, l’étude de sous-corpus nationaux permet de révéler des logiques éditoriales et spatiales spécifiques : si l’actualité internationale est d’abord celle des États-Unis, elle est ensuite celle des États voisins et culturellement proches. Inversement, le stato-centrisme souvent évoqué dans les études médiatiques précédentes n’apparaît pas comme une règle systématique. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper analyzes the international RSS feeds of 37 dailies located in 16 different States, specifically instances when the States are mentioned. Three aspects were studied: the hierarchy between States, co-occurrences, and finally neighborhood effects. The results demonstrate a high concentration in international news: 20% of States provide a minimum of 80% of mentions for all the newspapers in the corpus. Regardless of the vantage point chosen, the United States occupies a preponderant position. The study of co-occurrences also places the United States at the center, all the while revealing key couples among the States, whether they be cooperative or contentious. Finally, the study of the national sub-corpus reveals specific spatial and editorial logic. Though international news deals primarily with the United States, the second place is given over to neighboring and culturally similar States. Inversely, the State-centrism often cited in previous media studies does not appear to be a systematic rule. |
